Chinese New Year's Eve

親愛的台灣同學會會員您好，

在寒冬歲末之際，台灣同學會會長群誠摯邀請您來參加除夕晚會。今年
為大家準備的"團圓"菜色除了每年必備的火鍋外，另備有幾樣中式菜餚
與甜點。團圓飯後，我們將提供數種娛樂活動，包括電影放映、麻將、
撲克牌、飛鏢、撞球、桌上足球等,活動將持續到午夜,時間非常自由。
如果您有麻將、適合打麻將的方形桌子、骰子、撲克牌等任何娛樂物品
或遊戲，並願意借大家一晚，請在報名時一併告知。

時間：二月十七日(六)除夕夜晚上六點至大年初一凌晨一點
地點：Regents Park South Tower Hospitality Suite (6pm-9pm) &
Bar Lounge (9pm-1am)

今年因場地費用額外支出之故($150)，需向各位會員酌收五元,非會員
十元(包含會費)的活動費。請特別注意報名截止日期為2/14下星期三
(情人節)。報名請e-mail至clhung@uchicago.edu即可。為預先提供
Regents Park管理處門禁名單與統計需要的食物，恕無法接受遲來的報名。

Dear TSA member,

You've probably noticed that Chinese New Year is just around
the corner. The TSA board is pleased to throw out a Chinese
New Year's Eve Party and you're cordially invited. Hot pot,
some traditional dishes and desserts are going to be served in
the party. After the dinner we will go to the top floor of the
tower to see the gorgeous lakefront view. Various
entertainment will be provided, including pokers, dart game,
pool. A movie or Taiwanese TV show will be shown in the
lounge. The details for the party:

Time: Saturday, 2/17/06 from 6pm to 1am
Venue: Regents Park South Tower Hospitality Suite (6pm-9pm)
and Summit Club on the top floor(9pm-1am)
Fee: $5 for TSA members and $10 for non-TSA members

This year Regents Park raised the fee $150 for the usage of
summit club. In order to cover the cost, we are sorry that we
have to charge $5 for TSA members and $10 for non-TSA members.

The deadline is 2/14/07, which is next Wednesday (Valentine's
Day). Please email to Cheng-Lung Hung (clhung@uchicago.edu) if
you would like to join the party. We apologize first for not
being able to accept late sign-ups. According to Regents
Park's policy, you would have to tell the front desk doorman
your name and that you're attending the party held by TSA
in order to get in if you're a visitor.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail one
of our board members.

PS. Please let us know if you are willing to lend us "Mah
Jong" for one night.
