Hi fellow UC Taiwanese friends,

How's it going? I hope everybody is doing alright in this
new quarter! :)

Here is one announcements from the TSA:

The National Birthday Parade: On next Sunday (Oct. 8th), we will have our annaul Double Tenth Day Parade in Chinatown. It will start around 11:40am and end at 2:00pm. As usual, TSA's plan is to meet here in Hyde Park and go together. Thus, we will need you guys to RSVP by 11:00pm of this coming Sunday(Oct. 1st).

Here are some incentives: Maybe first start with thinking about how much we're proud of our country when Tiger Wang was pitching in any stadium here in the United States. This is the reason #1 why we have to be in the parade! Further, since almost all the Taiwanese friends will come to this event, it's a great opportunity to meet other Taiwanese students in the Great Chicago Area. And also, for those who attends this event, there will be a 5 dollars "compensation" which we can use to enjoy ourselves after the parade. Fourth, it'll take only about 3 hours, and you can always go back to resume your study after the parade. That's about 10 hours before the end of the day, isn't it? :)

That's for the parade, for people who feel interested in this event, please do RSVP to this email address before the end of this coming Sunday. :)

Cheers,
TSA board members.
