Dear TSA member,

You've probably noticed that Chinese New Year is just around the corner. The TSA board is pleased to throw out a CNY Eve Party and you're cordially invited.

Party details: Theme: Chinese New Year's Eve Hot Pot Party Time: Saturday, 1/28/06 @ 6pm Venue: Regents Park South Tower Hospitality Suite (1st floor)and Bar Lounge on the top floor where you can see the gorgeous lakefront view after dinner.

Various forms of entertainment will be provided, including the showing of the movie "Perhaps Love" directed by Ke-Hsin Chen, Mah Jong, pokers, and "Xi Ba Lah" (Yes, the gambling game you play on CNY). Of course You can stay at the party as late as you like or leave early at anytime you prefer. If you have Mah Jong set(s), Mah Jong table(s) or any square tables, or dice that you're willing to lend us for an evening, please let us know when you sign up for this event. The TSA board will arrange pick-ups and returns of the Mah Jong tables, so no worries. ;)

This party is free for TSA members as usual. Non-members (i.e. people who haven't paid their annual $5 membership fee) should pay $5 at the party which then allows them to join our activities for the remaining academic year for free.

Please note that the deadline is a week from today, 1/22/06. Simply shoot an e-mail to entzu@uchicago.edu if you would like to join us. We apologize first for not being able to accept late sign-ups. NO EXCEPTION. According to Regents Park's policy, you would have to tell the front desk door man your name and that you're attending the party held by TSA in order to get in if you're a visitor.

除餐點外，我們也會準備多樣的娛樂活動，包括放映電影"如果愛"(陳可辛執導，金城武、周迅主演)、麻將、撲克牌、"洗芭樂"(不要懷疑，就是你在過年想小賭一番的時候玩的遊戲)。時間上非常自由，您可以自行決定要留多晚或早走。如果您有麻將、麻將桌(或是任何適合打麻將的方形桌子)、骰子，並願意借大家一晚，請在報名時一併告知。我們會負責麻將桌的運送。台灣同學會會員可免費參加此活動，非會員需繳交五元會費，方可參加，並可免費參加這學年其餘的活動。請特別注意報名截止日期為下星期日(一月二十二日)。報名方式為e- mail 恩慈即可。恕無法接受遲來的報名，以方便統計人數。如果您為Regents Park的訪客，您需在門房簽到並告知目的，方可進入。此為Regents Park之規定。如果您有任何問題，請隨時e-mail幹部。

Hello TSA member,

Sorry that I forgot to mention how to get to Regents for CNY party. You can take buses B and 172 departing from campus for free with UCID. The actual address is 5020 - 5050 South Lake Shore Dr. Bus routes and schedules are available at http://www.rh.uchicago.edu/bus/

If you're still not sure how to go, please contact our board members or anyone living in Regents. (If you want to hear a stupid story about how I missed the CNY party last year -> hint: something related to buses, you can ask around or ask myself. I certainly don't want to see the same thing happen again this year. :P)
